CIHD Virtual Scholarships 2010/11-UCL-UK

The University College London offers The CIHD Virtual Scholarships for the year 2010/11 in UK

CIHD offers a limited number of partial scholarships of £1,500 for MSc applicants from overseas and £1,000 for PG Diploma applicants from overseas. These scholarships are paid towards tuition fees only and are not awarded for living/subsistence costs.


Who may apply:

Available to suitably qualified applicants who have been given and have accepted an unconditional offer from UCL but are having some difficulty in obtaining full scholarships.

How to apply:

  1. Write a two page statement of the value of this course to your personal development in your chosen field of work.
  2. Write a statement of funding applications you have made.
  3. Provide details of any sponsorships you have been awarded and
  4. Please return these along with a completed Scholarship application form by 10th July 2010

Required Documents:

  1. A current CV.
  2. A letter confirming current employment status.
  3. Copies of certificates and transcripts for higher education and professional training.
  4. A detailed personal statement explaining why the applicant wishes to come and study their chosen programme and how the scholarship funding will assist them in contributing to their specific field.
  5. Proof of funding status including evidence that they have applied to other funding bodies for the additional expenses. If any additional funding has been obtained, the applicant must provide evidence of this in the form of a signed letter from the funding organisation stating the additional sponsorship/scholarship amount in sterling. If the funding comes from personal resources, copies of official bank statements showing the balance of funds must be submitted.
