Position Description:

Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will: •be obliged to register and pursue an MMedVet specialist degrees presented by the Department (Veterinary Production Animal Studies), actively participate in the clinical/experiential training of veterinary and veterinary nursing students •participate in the departmental research projects •render services in the Clinics of the Onderstepoort Veterinary Academic Hospital, •participate in providing a 24-hour service and community outreach activities, including those to previously disadvantaged communities, and •perform other duties as delegated by the Head of the Department.
Position Requirements:
Minimum requirements: •A BVSc/BVMCh degree or an appropriate equivalent veterinary qualification •Registration or authorisation as a Veterinarian with the South African Veterinary Council.
Recommended requirements: •An interest in Veterinary Production Animal practice.

Remuneration Package:
The total remuneration package for this position ranges from approximately R179.348 to R212.206 all inclusive.
