Community Scholarships – 2011 – 2012 – Oxford Brookes University – UK

Scholarship Introduction :

We believe that there’s far more to education than just doing well at exams. That’s why Brookes has always recognised and rewarded non-academic kinds of achievements. Not everyone gets top grades, but we find that students with more purpose in life also have the potential to really succeed at university. As we’d like to encourage a wide range of students to apply to Oxford Brookes, we’ve introduced Community Scholarships. These are worth £1,000 for the first year and £500 per year for two subsequent years. This money doesn’t have to be paid back as long as you complete your course.
