Cooperation Japan (JSPS) Programme 2010/11-Japan

The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) offers The Cooperation Japan (JSPS) Programme to Dutch researchers with a PhD degree for the year 2010/11 in Japan

NWO has a cooperation agreement with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), which provides various opportunities for doing research in Japan.


Who may Apply:

Dutch researchers with a PhD degree.

Grant Details:

Grants can be applied for in the following cases:

  1. Scientist exchange – Short term (2 weeks to 2 months) in Japan
  2. Scientist exchange – Long term (6 to 12 months) in Japan
  3. Contribution to the cost of Bilateral Joint Seminars in Japan or Netherlands
  4. Invitation fellowship Short term (2 weeks to 2 months) in Japan
  5. Postdoctoral fellowships for Foreign Researchers (12 to 24 months) to a Japanese research institute
