The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) offers The Cooperation South Korea (KOSEF) Programme to Highly qualified and experienced researchers for the year 2010/11 in South Korea and Netherlands
NWO has a cooperation agreement with the National Research Foundation of South Korea, Korea Science and Engineering Foundation (NRF KOSEF). The programme gives South Korean researchers the opportunity of a short stay in the Netherlands and Dutch researchers the chance to visit South Korea. The programme also helps to fund joint seminars held in South Korea or the Netherlands.
Eligibility:
Highly qualified and experienced researchers with a permanent contract of employment at one of the Dutch universities, KNAW institutes or NWO research institutes, NKI or MPI Nijmegen. The fields of study referred to above are elegible.
Application Process:
Applications can be submitted continuously. Decisions on an application take three to six months.
Selection Process:
- International travel costs, and local travel and subsistence costs for a stay in South Korea of between 2 weeks and 3 months can be applied for.
- For a bilateral joint seminar a contribution to the costs can be requested.
