Extramural Undergraduate Scholarships 2010/11-New Zealand citizens/Permanent Residents-Massey University-New Zealand

Massey University offers The Massey University Extramural Undergraduate Scholarships to Undergraduate New Zealand citizens or permanent residents for the 2010/11 session in New Zealand

These Scholarships have been established for extramural students, to reward excellence and to encourage their completion of undergraduate degrees. (Note additional papers over and above degree completion will not be funded). Up to twenty-five Scholarships to the value of $500 per 15 credits (up to a maximum of $4,000) for the intended enrolment. Each will be awarded annually to extramural students who meet the criteria specified.


Eligibility:

Candidates must:

  1. Be enrolled or intending to enrol extramurally to complete studies in the year the award is made in their current Bachelor’s Degree;
  2. Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Have completed 240 credits of a 3 year Bachelor degree or 360 credits of a 4 year Bachelor degree of which at least 75% of credits have been completed extramurally.

  1. Application forms are available from Massey Contact, Massey University, Private Bag 11-222, Palmerston North or email Contact@massey.ac.nz or can be downloaded from http://www.massey.ac.nz/massey/fms/Awards/Documents/forms/MU_Extramural_UG_Appl.pdf.
  2. Applications close with the Graduate Research School, Massey University, Private Bag 11-222, Palmerston North.


Selection criteria:

The Scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Consideration will normally be given to students with a B average or better in their papers to date.
