Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship (FLTA) Program – Irish citizens – 2010-2011 – Dublin 2 – Ireland

The aim of the FLTA Program is to strengthen foreign language instruction in the US while providing current or future teachers with the opportunity to refine their teaching skills and extend their knowledge of US society and culture that they can draw upon when they return to Ireland.

Eligibility:
Postgraduate students / recently qualified teachers and professionals fluent in Irish who are planning teaching careers in Ireland and are keen to take part in student life in a US university / college and live in student accommodation, on or off-campus are encouraged to apply.

Deadline:

The 2010-11 FLTA Awards will open 4th September 2009 and will close 30th October 2009. Interviews will take place early November 2009 in Dublin.
