2009 Michigan University Lurcy Fellowships for Graduate students in US

The Georges Lurcy Charitable and Educational Trust seeks to promote friendship and understanding between the peoples of the United States and France, and secondarily between Americans and Europeans in general. This is achieved by supporting scholarly activities and exchanges which allow members of one society to learn more about the people and civilization of the other society.



Eligibility:

Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Applicants should be graduate students whose academic objectives would benefit from this experience.

Application Procedure:

Students can submit complete application packets to the Fellowships Office.

A complete application consists of:

  1. application
  2. curriculum vitae
  3. statement of purpose and objectives (please limit to two pages)
  4. three letters of recommendation and recommendation cover forms
  5. foreign language report
  6. Transcripts or academic reports of all graduate and undergraduate education (photocopies will suffice).

Fellowship Deadline:

October 15, 2009
