The Masdar Institute of Science and Technology offers The MASDAR Institute Fellowship Program for the year 2010/11 to UAE Nationals in UAE

This is open only to UAE nationals who will be placed at one of the Masdar Research partners to earn their Masters and/or PhD degrees. The partners include:

Imperial College London, (UK)
RWTH Aachen University (Germany)
German Aerospace Center-DLR (Germany)
Tokyo Institute of Technology (Japan)
University of Waterloo (Canada)
University of Central Florida (USA)
University of Texas, Austin (USA)
University of Freiburg (Germany)

Eligibility:

Applicants must fulfill the following conditions:

1. UAE citizens
2. Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering or science with a GPA of 3.2 or above
3. Strong analytical skills
4. Creative and innovative
5. Good communication skills
6. Dynamic and positive attitude
7. Ability to envision and help shape the future.

Fellowship Details:

The Fellowships will be competitively awarded according to academic excellence, independent intellectual contribution and commitment to purpose. Each Fellowship will cover educational and living expenses, in additional to a pre-set salary and foreign living allowance.

Felllowship Benefits:

Selected candidates will be immediately employed with Masdar and competitive package for fellowship abroad will be offered. The fellowship program will cover:

6. life and health insurance
