The United States-Israel Educational Foundation (USIEF) plans to award approximately 6 grants to students for post-graduate study and research in 2011/2012 (October 2011-June 2012). The program is designed to give recent graduates, young professionals and artists opportunities for personal development and international experience. Grantees plan their own projects, which may include university coursework, independent library or field research, classes in a music conservatory or art school, special projects in the social or natural sciences, or a combination of such activities. Along with opportunities for intellectual, professional, and artistic growth, the Fulbright Program offers invaluable opportunities to meet and work with people of the host country, sharing daily life as well as professional and creative experiences.

The United States – Israel Educational Foundation (USIEF) offers The Fulbright Post Doctoral Fellowships for the year 2011/12 in Israel
The United States-Israel Educational Foundation (USIEF) plans to award ten grants to American post-doctoral scholars who are about to begin a program of research at Israeli institutions of higher education which will commence during the 2011/2012 academic year. The total length of the proposed program of work in Israel must be at least two academic years (20 months net in Israel). The Fulbright award totals $40,000, $20,000 per academic year. Fulbright funding supplements basic post-doctoral stipends provided by Israeli host institutions.

The United States – Israel Educational Foundation (USIEF) plans to award one grant to a member of academic staff, to a senior professional, or to an accomplished artist or writer for a visit to an Israeli institution of higher education to be carried out during the 2011/2012 academic year. The visiting fellow’s program of work may include research, lecturing, or a combination of lecturing and research. The program grant will support a visit of 4 months. The Senior Scholar Fellow will receive a monthly stipend, determined in keeping with the number of accompanying dependents.
