The American Councils of International Education offers The Mexico Principal Exchange Program to US Citizens for the year 2010 in USA and Mexico
The 2010/11 Mexico Principal Exchange Program provides the opportunity for US and Mexican school principals to work together as a team on issues of mutual interest to their communities, schools and students. Exchanges may focus in the areas of personnel administration, school management, instruction, curriculum development, student affairs, and/or educational policy. Applicants should be creative, self-reliant, flexible and able to maintain excellent relationships with faculty, staff, and students in Mexico. Applicants should have a sincere interest in learning from the experience of others and sharing their own best practices. They should also be prepared to make presentations about the United States before diverse audiences in Mexico. Spanish language skills are preferred, but not required.

Terry Scholarships For Incoming Freshman At Texas A&M University – Mexico 2009
Scholarship Description:
The Terry Scholarship is intended to provide scholarships up to the cost of attendance to outstanding students (other scholarships or aid and family household contribution will be considered when determining the Terry scholarship stipend).
Scholarship Eligibility:
- be admitted by January 10, 2010 as an incoming freshman to Texas A&M University-College Station for the fall semester after high school graduation
- be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident of the U.S,
- attend a Texas high school or home school in Texas,
- have strong academic abilities as evidence in your grades and SAT/ACT test scores,
- have a record of leadership in school and community,
- demonstrate financial need,
- and live on-campus during freshman year at Texas A&M.
- Required to submit three letters of recommendation and a high school transcript
- The above item will be requested for those who are being reviewed by the Texas A&M University Terry Scholarship Review Committee. Note: Request for these items does NOT necessarily indicate that you will be forwarded to the Terry Foundation for an interview.

MARC Undergraduate Research Assistant Positions For Undergraduate Honors Students At University Of New Mexico
About University:

Position Description:
Biomedical research, including such areas as cell biology, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, genetics, etc., and behavioral research as well as the more quantitative areas such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer sciences, necessary to analyze biological phenomena. Work may include handling live animals and, if so, specific training will be provided, as mandated by NIH. Students present research at local and national meetings every year. Students need to work well with a team in the laboratory, learn use of research equipment and computational analysis as required for the specific research project. Students will work 15 hours per week during the academic year, except for breaks. Students will spend one summer doing full time research at UNM and a second summer conducting full time research at another research institution. Students read, discuss, and present scientific papers, analyze their own laboratory results in consultation with the mentor and lab members, and contribute to writing at least one scientific paper. Students will take a GRE-preparatory class provided by the MARC Program and take the general GRE, paid for by the MARC Program. Students will work with MARC staff to prepare their graduate applications. Students will attend specialized sessions in preparation for graduate training in the biomedical/behavioral sciences, and complete a MARC-sponsored Research Ethics class.
