MASDAR Institute Fellowship Program 2010-Masdar Science and Technology Institute-UAE

Masdar Institute of Science and Technology invites applications from UAE nationals to participate in the MASDAR Institute Fellowship Program for the academic year 2010-2011

This is open only to UAE nationals who will be placed at one of the Masdar Research partners to earn their Masters and/or PhD degrees. The partners include:

  • Imperial College London, (UK)
  • RWTH Aachen University (Germany)
  • German Aerospace Center-DLR (Germany)
  • Tokyo Institute of Technology (Japan)
  • University of Waterloo (Canada)
  • University of Central Florida (USA)
  • University of Texas, Austin (USA)
  • University of Freiburg (Germany)

Upon graduation, each scholar will be given the opportunity to work at the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology founded through a cooperative agreement with the world renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Graduates of this fellowship program will also have the option to work with one of Masdar’s partners or ventures, to further develop and apply the scientific knowledge gained.
Current research tracks include: solar energy (photovoltaic and thermal); water technologies; carbon capture and storage; biofuels; energy storage; and energy efficiency.
