The School of Arts and Education at the Middlesex University offers The Postgraduate Research Scholarships for the year 2010/11 in UK
Applications are invited for Postgraduate Research Scholarships to work in the areas listed below. They are offered on a full-time basis and cover a maintenance award, fee payments (at the UK/EU rate) and research support costs. The Scholarships are for three years, subject to satisfactory progress. The level of the maintenance element of the Scholarships is linked to the level of corresponding awards made by UK research councils and is subject to regular review. Maintenance payments for the 2010/11 academic year will be £13,590 per annum. The studentship bursaries are free of both tax and national insurance contributions.

The University of Sterling offers The MSc in International Accounting and Finance Scholarships for the year 2010/11 in UK
These Scholarships are funded by the Accounting and Finance Division and meet course fees up to the home/EU rate. This means that the successful candidates will pay no course fees in September 2010 if they are home/EU fee category students. The International Access Scheme (IAS) is for international and European students who are already studying in the UK, perhaps at a Further Education college, and who want to progress onto Higher Education. We have established agreements with some colleges to ease this progression. We have, for example, examined the content of these colleges’ international foundation courses so that we can recommend and recognise them for entry onto certain courses at Sheffield Hallam University.
