The University of Sydney offers The Sydney University Graduate Entry Scholarships to Australian and New Zealand Citizens and Permanent Residents for the 2010/11 session in Australia
Graduate Entry Program Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and personal attributes such as leadership and creativity. You must also be enrolling in a USyd graduate entry degree the following academic year (this scholarship cannot be deferred). Scholarships are awarded for study in a specified degree program/Faculty and cannot be transferred.
Who may Apply:
- Students enrolling in their first year of Graduate Law, Bachelor of Dentistry, University of Sydney Medical Program (USydMP) or Teaching Degree.
- To be eligible for these scholarships, you must be a local student (ie. Australian or New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident of Australia). Please note that international students are not eligible to apply.
Application Process:
The application form is available for download as a writable pdf document.

- print it out and fill in your details
- submit it to the Scholarships & Prizes Office
- OR you may
- fill in your details electronically using the writable form
- print it out and sign it
- submit it to the Scholarships & Prizes Office.
Scholarship Details:
- Value $6,000 p.a.
- Duration: If you are awarded an Entry Scholarship, you will receive payment for one year only. If you are awarded a Merit Scholarship you will receive payment for up to five years depending on the length of your chosen degree.
Application Deadline:
4.30 pm Friday 8 January 2010.
