The Rothberg International School of the Hebrew University offers The Anna Sobol Levy Foundation Fellowships Programs to US Citizens for the year 2010/11 in Jerusalem
The Anna Sobol Levy Foundation and its fellowship program was created by Captain Jerome E. Levy, USNR (Ret.) to honor his mother’s memory. The fellowship is for one or two years of study at The Rothberg International School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Eligibility:
Candidates must be U.S. citizens under age 30 at the time application and should have studied in the fields of military studies, economic geography, international relations, political science, or history. In addition, they must have career goals in the armed services, diplomatic corps, international relations, or government or public service.
How to Apply:
- The final deadline for applications is March 1. Applicants from ROTC programs and military colleges are encouraged to apply as early as possible in order to leave time for securing the necessary permission to defer their active duty service.
- Graduate applications and the Anna Sobol Levy Fellowship application supplement are available online at https://apply.embark.com/ugrad/hebrewu/30/. All fellowship applicants are encouraged to file the need-based financial aid application in order to determine whether they qualify for additional funding.
Selection Process:
The Foundation awards fellowships solely on the basis of merit and without regard to race, religion, ethnic origin, or gender.
